Dana's Beef Pot Pie
This meat pie I make is delicious. I always double it and bake it in a 9x13 pan. I just roll the crust out in a rectangle, lay it on the bottom, pour in the filling, roll out the top crust and cut shapes to lay on the top.
Recipe:
2 lbs beef roast or steak, cut in small cubes
3 C water
3 medium potatoes, cubed
2 cloves garlic, pressed
½ large sweet onion, diced
2 large carrots, sliced
1 large celery stalk
2 Tbs beef bouillon
1 Tbs sucanut
½ tsp cracked black pepper
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbs soy sauce
1/4-1/2 C flour
1/4-1/2 C cream
Salt to taste

Cook beef in water until
tender, covered. Add potatoes, garlic, onion, carrot and celery and
cook until tender. Add all but the flour and cream. Make a roux
with the flour and some water and thicken soup, then add cream. Put
in pastry-lined pan and bake 425° until browned and bubbly.
