Holiday Star Scones
This is a Pampered Chef recipe. About 16 years ago I was a consultant for them and this is one of the recipes we've enjoyed since then. This recipe is nice because it's not so sweet but still delicious!
Recipe:
1½ C flour
Heat oven to 400°. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
in bowl. Cut butter into flour mixture using a pastry blender. Stir
in chips, sour cream and milk. Turn dough out onto floured surface.
Roll out dough about ¼ inch thick. Cut any shape out of dough and place on
baking stone or sheet. Sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake 12-15 minutes
or until barely lightly browned.
