Coleslaw
This is my favorite coleslaw recipe. The onion is essential. I like it fresh, but it's also good for a couple of days.
1 medium head cabbage, cored and shredded fine
1 medium carrot, finely shredded or chopped
2 Tbs sweet or yellow onion, finely chopped
3/4-1 C Dana's mayonnaise
1 tsp horseradish
2 Tbs heavy cream (can sub 4 oz sour cream and reduce mayo to 4 oz and increase salt to 1 tsp)
3 Tbs white vinegar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/3 C sugar or a little more to taste
Mix all together and refrigerate before serving.
