Dana's Potato Salad
I've been making this salad for years with some sauce variations. I used to make it with a lot of Miracle Whip but I try not to use that anymore. My kids love this salad. Most of them don't like the onion in it so I just serve chopped onion on the side for Chad and I.
Recipe:
5 lbs red potatoes boiled with a bay leaf (Do not overcook), peeled and cubed
12-18 eggs, boiled, peeled & chopped big
A small jar dill pickles, cut in large chunks
1 small onion, chopped (optional)
Dressing:
2 C sour cream
1½ C Dana's mayonnaise
28 g Ranch dressing mix
3 Tbs mustard
2-2½ Tbs sugar
1 Tbs onion powder
1 tsp celery salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
½ tsp paprika
Whisk everything together thoroughly.
