Crock Pot Chicken and Rice

My sister-in-law, Shauna, gave me this recipe.  I reduced the amount of chicken breasts when my daughter-in-law served it to me that way and I liked it better.  This is very tasty.


Recipe:

4 chicken breasts
1/2 C butter
1 1/2 C water
3 pkg Italian dressing mix
8 oz cream cheese
1 family size cream of chicken soup
1/2 C milk
4 C cooked rice

Put chicken, butter, water and dressing mix in crock pot on high 3 to 4 hours. Do not over-cook. Remove chicken, add cream cheese, cream of chicken soup and milk and mix well. Shred chicken and add to gravy. Heat again until hot. Add rice or serve separately.
