Butter Cream Syrup

My friend, Kami, gave me this recipe.  Best syrup ever!  Just remember to make whatever you're going to pour it on first, because if you don't, you'll drink all the syrup before you get the pancakes made!  This is the one time you're allowed to lick your plate.


Recipe:

3/4 C cream or buttermilk
1 C sugar
1/2 C butter
1 Tbs corn syrup


Combine everything together in a saucepan over medium heat.  Boil, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes.  (Optional: after removing from heat add 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp baking soda).
