Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry
Thai Food!!!! We love it (except Chad)! Chad can tell if something has fish sauce in it even if it's just a splash. Most of my Thai food recipes come from www.thaifoodtonight.com. I just love almost every recipe I've tried from there. This one is very simple and is the only one that Chad enjoys.
Recipe:
1 lb beef, sliced on angle
1 lb beef, sliced on angle
fresh ground black pepper
1 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs fish sauce
3 Tbs oyster sauce (can sub 2/3 soy sauce, 1/3 fish sauce, monk fruit, splash of worchestershire sauce)
1 Tbs cornstarch or potato starch
½ tsp sesame oil
1 Tbs purple grape juice
1 tsp rice vinegar
4 large garlic cloves,
chopped course
½ C oil
3 broccoli crowns, cut in thin bite-size pieces
¼ C water
Mix beef, pepper, sauces,
sesame oil, vinegar and grape juice. Put garlic on top, cover and
refrigerate 2-3 hours. Heat wok on high, add oil and heat to
smoking. Add beef mixture and cook until half done, about 1-2
minute. Add broccoli and water and stir-fry about 2-4 minutes until
broccoli are crisp-tender. I serve this with Jasmine brown rice.
