Margurite's Brownie Cake
I got this recipe from a friend when we lived in Wyoming. It was given to me as a brownie recipe but is more like a cake. It's super delicious!
Recipe:
1/2 C butter
3/4 C water
2 oz unsweetened chocolate squares (or substitute 6 Tbs cocoa and 2 Tbs butter)
2 C sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 scant C flour
1/2 C sour cream
8 oz cream cheese
1/3 C sugar
1 egg
12 oz milk chocolate chips
Melt together butter, water and chocolate. Combine next six ingredients. Add chocolate mixture and mix well. Place in greased jellyroll pan. Combine cream cheese, sugar and egg and marble on top of chocolate batter. Top with chocolate chips. Bake 375°F for 25-30 minutes.
