Hawaiian Sheet Cake
I don't think this is authentically Hawaiian but I got the recipe from a friend in Enoch, Utah who is from Hawaii. I think it's her creation. But it's very good and one of the few cakes I like any more.
Recipe:
1 yellow cake mix
3-4 bananas, sliced
1 lg can pineapple tidbits, with juice
1 lg pkg vanilla pudding (or make your own)
1 1/2 C whipping cream, whipped and sweetened with sugar and vanilla
Toasted coconut

Toasted coconut
Macadamia nuts, roasted and chopped
Make yellow cake, as directed, in jelly roll pan. Bake 12-15 minutes. Put in refrigerator until cool. Poke holes in the cake and put banana slices on top. Evenly pour the pineapple juice over bananas and then the pineapple tidbits.
Prepare vanilla pudding as directed for the pie recipe and spread evenly on top of pineapple. Spread whipped cream on top of the pudding and sprinkle with Nuts and coconut.
