Chuck's Brownies
Chuck learned to make these on his mission to New York City 33 years ago. He's been making these our entire marriage and they are his and all the kids favorite brownies. For me, they are fine if there's nothing else around to eat but they are crumbly (especially if you overcook them at all) and I've spent 31 years picking and sweeping the crumbs off the floor. These brownies are not so rich and are more healthy because of the oats.

1/2 C milk
1 Tbs vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 C flour (loosely packed)
2 C oatmeal
Stir all ingredients together in a bowl in the order given. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, until barely done, leaving a dull shine in the center.
