Ribbon Jello Salad
We have made this salad every Thanksgiving for years. I can't remember where I got the recipe but it's definitely a family favorite!
Recipe:
2 six-ounce Jello any flavors
1 six-ounce lemon Jello
1 C miniature marshmallows
1 C heavy cream
8 ounces pineapple, drained
6 ounces cream cheese
1/2 C mayonnaise
8 ounces Cool Whip (no substitutes except your own whipped cream)
Prepare 1 six ounce Jello with 2 cups boiling water. Put in 9 x 13 pan. Let set hard in refrigerator. Prepare lemon Jello with 1¼ cups boiling water. Add marshmallows and stir to melt. Blend pineapple, cream cheese and mayo in blender and then add cream for last few seconds. Add this to the lemon jello and pour over the hardened Jello in pan. Let set hard in refrigerator. Prepare 2nd six ounce Jello with 2 cups boiling water. Let cool completely but don't let it set-up. Carefully pour over 2nd layer of Jello in pan. Chill till set hard. Top with cool whip.
