Cream Cheese Frosting
This is the best cream cheese frosting! I experimented with a few recipes. The key is to put in enough butter. Most recipes call for the wrong ratio of butter to cream cheese. The right ratio allows the frosting to hold up better when spreading and gives it the best smooth texture!
Recipe:
8 ounces cream cheese
12 tablespoons salted butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
3-4 cups powdered sugar
Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar 1 cup at a time, scraping bowl after each addition. Blend until smooth and fluffy.
