Blushing Vinaigrette

This recipe is my version of our favorite vinaigrette.  It took a little bit of tasting and adjusting but I'm getting pretty quick at making copykat recipes now.


Recipe:

½ C sugar
6 Tbs warm water
6 Tbs red wine vinegar
1¾ tsp salt
⅛ tsp ground white pepper
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp Xantham gum
1 dash onion powder
2 Tbs mild oil

Combine sugar and warm water and stir to dissolve.  Combine all spices with Xantham gum in small dish.  After sugar is dissolved, add vinegar and whisk in the spices and then the oil until well combined.
