Honey Sriracha Chicken
My daughter, Addy, made this last night from a recipe she found on-line. It was really yummy. Here's the recipe with a couple of adjustments.
Recipe:
3 lbs chicken breast, diced
1/2 C cornstarch
Oil
Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Sauce:
2 C water
6 Tbs Sriracha hot sauce
10 Tbs soy sauce
2 heaping Tbs minced garlic
1/2 C sugar
6 Tbs honey
3 Tbs corn starch
Mix sauce ingredients together in saucepan. Bring it to a boil over medium heating, whisking constantly.
Put the cornstarch in a plastic bag. Add the chicken and shake to coat. Drizzle a large fry pan with oil and heat over medium heat. Add chicken and saute until browned and cooked through. Add the sauce and stir to combine. Serve with rice.
