Jello Cake

1 large package lime gelatin or any other flavor
1 box lemon cake mix or any other flavor
Dissolve Jello in 1 1/2 cups boiling water.  Add 1 cup cold water.  Set aside until room temperature but still liquid.  Mix cake as directed in a jelly roll pan.  Bake 20-25 minutes.  Poke deep holes all over into the cake with a fork.  Spoon the cooled Jello into the holes.  Refrigerate while making the topping.

Topping:
8 ounces Cool Whip (no substitutes)
1 small box of instant lemon (or any other flavor) pudding prepared with 1 cup of milk.

Combine the Cool Whip and pudding together and spread on the top of the cake.  Keep cake chilled before serving.  Garnish as desired.
