Dana's Spaghetti

I threw this together last night and really enjoyed it!

Recipe:

1 pound ground beef
1.5 pounds smoked beef sausage, sliced
4 cloves garlic, pressed
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
6 ounces tomato paste
5.5 ounces V-8 juice
16 ounces bottled marinara sauce
26 ounces chopped tomatoes, blended (good ones)
1 pound mushrooms, halved or whole
1/3 cup honey or to taste
1 tablespoon salt or to taste
2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tablespoons onion powder
2 pounds pasta, cooked to perfection

Brown beef, sausage and garlic in oil.  Don't drain, add everything else and simmer 30 minutes or more.
