Goulash

This recipe I've heavily adjusted from Paula Deen's.  It's super quick and yummy and comforting!


Recipe:

2 lbs ground beef
5 cloves garlic, pressed
4 C water
3 bay leaves
3 Tbs soy sauce
2 Tbs Italian seasoning
30 oz canned tomatoes, blended
6 oz tomato paste
3 Tbs chopped dried onion
½ C honey
2 tsp salt
½ tsp dry mustard
½ tsp savory
½ tsp thyme
½ tsp black pepper
2-2½ C dry elbow macaroni

Brown ground beef with garlic and drain.  Add everything but macaroni, bring to boil, cover and simmer 15 minutes.  Add macaroni, cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.  Let stand 15-20 minutes covered.
