Creamy Salsa Verde

I got this recipe from a friend after I tasted it with some fresh corn tortillas and delicious carne asada.

Recipe:

8 small tomatillos
4-5 serrano peppers (you can use jalapeno too)
¼ white onion
1 medium garlic clove
1 teaspoon salt
2-3 tablespoons water
1 small avocado

Roast the tomatillos and peppers under the broiler. Put the peppers in a plastic bag to sweat and then peel and remove stems.

 Put everything in a blender and blend on low until everything is chopped with a smooth sauce. I like the peppers to be a little chunky so you can add them last, including the seeds too, if you want!
